Does my free account include a domain name?
Yes. Every free Orlit account comes with a free .orlit.net website address (for example, yourbusiness.orlit.net). If you want a custom domain (such as www.yourbusiness.com), you can purchase one, and our support team will assist you to connect it to your Orlit store.
Does my free account include business email accounts?
No. You can use your existing email address with Orlit or purchase branded business email addresses (such as sales@yourbusiness.com). We recommend having two email addresses: one for the default customer account, guest checkout, and POS transactions, and another for form auto-responses and order notifications.
How does Orlit's commission work?
Orlit is free to use. Each month, you only pay a commission when your monthly revenue exceeds ₦1 million. For example, if you make ₦1.5 million in one month, commission will apply only to the extra ₦500,000. Use our pricing calculator to estimate your monthly cost.
What are transaction fees?
Transaction fees are charges for processing online payments. Orlit integrates with Flutterwave and Paystack, which process your payments and charge these fees. The fees vary by provider; you can get accurate details from the website of the respective processor.
Can I migrate from my existing platform?
Orlit has rich data migration tool that makes migration of customers, product catalogue, users and much more seamless. It takes input as CSV or json whichever you find more convenient.
Can I run multiple online stores from one account?
Yes. Orlit allows you to manage multiple branded storefronts from a single admin portal, making it easy to serve different markets, brands, or customer groups.
How is Orlit different from other e‑commerce platforms?
Orlit builds your online store and connects your social media platforms, physical retail (POS), inventory, payments, shipping, and customer management into one integrated solution, giving you complete control over your business operations.
Can I manage my business from my mobile phone?
Yes. Orlit's web admin portal is optimized for mobile devices and doubles as an app, allowing you to manage your business and set up your online store from your phone. That makes it possible to carry over the desktop experience to a mobile environment without learning anything new.
